The area: The house is located in the village of Aliki in the southern part of Paros Island. Aliki is a quiet, small village with three magnificent beaches, a small port, many fish taverns, a diving center, a traditional bakery but also a sufficient market place with a small super market, butcher’s shop, pharmacy and a general medicine doctor. Aliki is 12 kilometers far from the main town of the island Paroikia (15-minute drive).
The house: The house is located in the middle of the Aliki village, close to the main street of the village and about 150 meters away from the main beach. The two other beaches of the village are located in walking distance from the house as well.
The house is located within a land piece of 250m2 and has a surface of 85m2. The garden is cultivated with local plants and trees and provides a sure shelter from the summer heat! The plants are arrogated by an automatic arrogation system.
In the entrance of the house there is a big veranda of 17m2 which gathers well friends and family.
The house is 36-years old but it has been partially renovated four years ago (aluminum windows and blinds were installed; double panes as well as window screens to all windows and the walls were painted). It is in a very good condition, with no humidity and very well preserved since the owning family used to spend a big part of the year there.
The house consists of the following rooms:
- an entry hall
- a big living room with a fire place, two sofas, a dining table and one air condition
- a big kitchen with wooden cupboards equipped with refrigerators and an electric stove
- the main bedroom with two beds, additional furniture and a second air-condition
- the bathroom
- a second small bedroom and
- a corridor with a big wardrobe and a shoe rack.
Two electric water heaters provide warm water in the kitchen and the bathroom.
In the outside area of the house there is a small storage room with washing machine, WC and shower.
Last but not least, the 250m2 of the land piece allow 120m2 of total built surface, meaning there is potential for a second floor to be added on top of the house.
